Wes Ashton

As Senior Portfolio Manager, Wes Ashton gives individuals peace of mind when it comes to finances. Wes oversees advisors across Harbourfront’s Canadian branches and is the principal of Harbourfront’s most extensive client practice overseeing $650 million in assets, as of November 1, 2021.

Wes prioritizes building relationships with his clients as he works with them to better their lives. His goal is to take the stress of managing finances away from individuals so they can enjoy the things that matter most to them.

In addition to sitting on Harbourfont’s Investment Committee, Wes holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation. Wes specializes in defensive portfolio construction as well as trusts and tax minimization planning, and he has delivered several wealth management lectures to industry professionals, including the Telus Agency Summit and Private Wealth Vancouver Forum.
